When I went to see what this week's prompt was, my first thought was not along the lines of what most others likely were. Instead, I went here ...
Gardot
With a sultry voice
The beautiful songstress breathes
And life comes to words

Scott,
You are amazing. That is a wonderful piece. The turns of phrase are delightful. The image of a singer's breath as a source of creation is gorgeous. Life coming to words rather than vice versa breathes life into the image ever so beautifully.
Thank you for introducing me to this very talented singer! Her voice is quite sultry!
Life comes to words...I love how you turned that around from most things coming to life.
Wonderful exquisitely done poem! And thanks for the introduction to a singer new to me.
Is it hot in here?
That songstress got to me, I guess.
Bravo, Scott!
I don't think you need to post a disclaimer - this is a fine way to respond to the prompt. Much better than whatever you might think most others might likely be.
Thanks for that link. I can certainly agree with your enthusiasm for Gardot.
Love that last image of "life comes to words..." :-)
Breath and song entwined... nice.
Oh, this is SO romantic!
sublime
Excellent choice!
Ahh, I love your turn of words and choice of singer! Exquisite...
