Yes! Trying and wishing and wanting and yearning represent a circling of emotions.
Lovely haiku posting!

This has that cicle effect. Listen and hear!
insanely inconclusive
I don't know if I'm understanding you properly, but this reminds me of how difficult it is to communicate with others, even those with whom we are the closest, and whom we consider the wisest.:)
Scott, lovely! Thank you for sharing your poem with all of us! :)
This brings to mind someone who is running around in despair.
Beautiful and bitter-sweet. Lovely.
It is so true, lovely and sad. I love it.
Scott,
Take 2:
This is perfect. I have thought and thought of the right response but realize the only one is the one you can't see, a silent nod of assent. I find it's always wondeful when someone puts into words what I have always felt.
Thanks for this.
Thanx to all, and, Joyce, you nailed it right on the head ... especially if you think you don't get it. Talking around each other; in circles, is what I am portraying.
Oh, and to whoever deleted a comment, if it was an offer to be my benefactor at a rate of, oh, say $100k per year, please re-post! :-)
so many times listening,,, and hearing,,, are two very different things....
Ah, a lovely circle!
it very much reminds me of the movie - lost in translation...trying to communicate in another language...this is good!
Truly excellent.
That was a cool movie, so thank you!
yes, like an silent echo searching...well, sorta.. it is beautiful, fills my head with memories
Okay
Poetikat told me to come here...I'm totally hooked! But I have to take my kids to practice so I'm going to come back and read like crazy in a little while!
Thanx, Michelle, for all your comments today. Welcome to Poetic Leanings!
I like this a lot.
