Hope is Worth It

Some make fun of the ideas, the dreams ... the hope. Others choose to believe that we can do better.

We can do better--and we will!

Hey, I was just at the Bethlehem Fair here in Connecticut, and there was an Obama booth (I looked for Republicans but happily found none. I may have overlooked them.). So many young people were wearing his buttons and stickers.

The kids where I teach know him as "our president." It's amazing. The hope is palpable. I say bring on the change.

It is always good to see young people in touch with political goings on. I see many Obama buttons and stickers, too. However, I would caution on this as we both live in states smart enough to be heavily blue. The key is what is happening in Pennsy, Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Virginia, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Montana, Indiana, and North Carolina. Those are where the battle will be fought.

Finding an Obama booth - a good thing. Not finding any Republicans - PRICELESS!!!
