A Question

This is a bit risky, since I get almost all of my readers view searches, and have very few "regulars," but I would like to take a shot here that perhaps I can get a handful of comments.

I am looking for poetic writing topics. Be specific. If you suggest writing about something, go right to the core of the idea. Don't simply say that I should write about the ocean (Oh, I have done that one often.).

I am curious as to what responses I get, if any. Any subject suggested will get, at a minimum, a short vignette.

Go ahead, I triple-dog dare you!

He goes right for the throat...the coup de grace of all dares, the sinister triple-dog-dare!

Okay, how about this for a topic:

Write about a memory (directly or indirectly) that you'd like to forget or wish didn't happen but you know deep down inside that it has played a role in making you who you are today.

Michelle steps up first and I will fulfill your request - - though it is a difficult one.

try to write someone who wish to write but get no inspertaion at all. i mean as soon as he/she start thinking in terms of writing it is gone, the idea seems absurd or used or just not good.

o.k. it is quit stupied but i tryed.

No bad ideas, Utopian. I have already done yours here

no bad ideas huh? well, you could write about...

the purpose or intention of wind, storms, or water

glances or looks or eye movements and how they could be interpreted

attach an unusual meaning to everyday observations, such as the way people walk or talk or dress and what it says about them

Three ideas for the triple dare. Hope they help.

I am printing your ideas out, present, as my job does not allow me much writing time during the week. I will attempt them, though. Check back!

Oh, cool pic for your identity. It looks like the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. Is it?

Yes, that is the Colordo River in the Grand Canyon. I was fortunate to go. It was an amazing trip.

Well, give me credit for catching that! I was there in May 2007, and it was an amazing experience all around.
